Our client is a successful and well-established English education provider based in the City near plenty of public transport. This is a friendly and diverse working environment where you will be part of a busy and close-knit team with lots of student contact and a wide range of duties.
Previous experience working with accounts and administration is essential and exposure to Xero and Maze would be valued but not essential. This is a permanent part-time role, working 5 or 6 days per fortnight. Our client is very flexible with days and hours and happy to work around your requirements. School hours are also possible. The role will pay about $60,000 plus super (pro rata) to commence, with future increases once you are established in the role.
Main Tasks of the role:
- Accounts Receivable including daily bank Reconciliations, following up on overdue invoices and entering invoices into Xero.
- Recording student payments into Xero and MAZE.
- Accounts Payable duties using Xero and weekly pay runs
- Auditing agent commission invoices.
- Liaising with staff with students
- Daily cash flow management
- Month End Duties .
- Payroll Processing and payment of fortnightly salary and wages
- Maintaining staff details and records.
- Monthly BAS.
- Administration duties related to role
