A fantastic opportunity for an experienced business development professional to join a dynamic and growing logistics specialist, to drive the business in WA.
Our client is a key component within a global integrated logistics network. With branches and a growing client base in most Australian states, they are committed to growing and developing their business and services, through delivering a diverse range of services to their customers. These services include : National Line Haul, Freight Forwarding, Specialised Logistics Services, Road Train and Tank Container Services.
To manage their growth and customer base effectively within WA, they are looking for an experienced sales professional to join their team and oversee the day-to-day marketing aspects of their business. Working closely with the Managing Director and other departmental managers, this role is seen as critical to the ongoing success of the business.
What do you need to excel in this role?
o A demonstrated background in a similar role within the logistics sector.
o Strong client identification, attainment and maintenance skills, along with territory management skills
o Professional presentation and proposal development skills, complemented by the ability to demonstrate these skills in a customer-focused environment
o The ability to effectively manage a ‘client-facing’ role in a demanding environment.
o Sound knowledge of Heavy Vehicle operations including fatigue, maintenance and load restraint management.
o The desire to become a key part of a national business development team and a valued asset to both your clients and your colleagues.
