Our client is part of a global company, specialising in manufacturing, distribution and servicing a diverse range of products and engineered solutions in the field of bulk material handling systems.

They are looking to appoint a SERVICE SUPPORT CO-ORDINATOR to join their growing team, based in Perth.

What does the role entail?

o   Support the General Manager to expand service and product sales in Western Australia.

o   Engage with service clients to understand their critical needs and prepare job scopes and commercial proposals/quotations aligned to their expectations.

o   Respond to technical and commercial enquiries as the first point of contact for commercial and technical enquiries

o   Support the service teams including Managers, Coordinators, Mobilization, Procurement and Workshop teams to deliver exceptional service aligned to the job scope and proposal, including management of change process.

o   Assist the Management team in the preparation of annual budgets by providing a detailed understanding of customer requirements.

o   Preparation of job scopes and quotations for Service activities to ensure aligned to customer requirements and business targets.

o   Plan and subsequently assist the mobilization team to co-ordinate work groups at major worksites to support supervisors in a coordinator role including frontline management of HR and HSEQ.

 o   Provide support to the on-site Co-ordinators and Supervisors and Workshop teams to ensure correct manpower, equipment and parts are allocated to work orders.

What do you need to excel in this role?

o   A demonstrated background in a similar role, within an engineering company and significant exposure to the mining sector

o   Experience in either a service or technical support role, ideally conveyor systems

o   Fantastic interpersonal skills and the ability to self-motivate

o   Ideally, a CERT lll in Polymer Processing and a Leadership/Management accreditation
